Asset Tracking
Radiant RFID’s asset tracking solution utilizes a handheld RFID/BarCode reader and a wireless server based interface to assist inventory personnel in locating assets and updating a central asset system in real time. Radiant’s solution interfaces with most ODBC compliant databases and transmit inventory information to the handheld device. As assets are located, location information is transmitted back to the central system.
Utilizing RFID instead of traditional barcode solutions allows personnel to find items without climbing ladders or crawling under desks or having to be in direct line of sight to an items asset tag; significantly reducing the amount of time required to perform inventory. Our customized Virtual Asset Tracker (VAT) solution allows for easily locating and reporting assets throughout each facility. Misplaced items are quickly identified, their locations updated, and information transferred to the VAT.
